Philatelic Investor provides unbiased advice on stamp investment. We do not pre-suppose any prior knowledge of stamp collecting or of the philatelic investment market. There is no shortage of publications and internet websites exploring every facet of philatelic study, not to mention countless buying opportunities via dealer’s websites: we are solely concerned with stamps as an investment.

Investing in stamps and postal history is a subject of mild controversy with many collectors holding the belief that stamps should be primarily for collecting and not used as an investment vehicle. Likewise, market commentators are right to point out the potential risks involved in investing in a market where the aspiring purchaser may have little or no knowledge of the items being bought.

Our view is that the market ultimately self-regulates: speculators will, in time, move on to alternative investment products if they do not see the returns envisaged and prices will continue to be driven by market demand.

Buying or Selling?

Philatelic Investor introduces potential investors to specialist dealers and advises in the purchase of suitable material. This service is confidential and available worldwide. There is no charge.

We only recommend reputable, well established dealers that are prepared to guarantee the quality of the material they provide. Suitable dealers are located from around the world dependent on investment preferences.

All purchases are made between buyer and seller direct, ensuring you retain full contractual entitlement to all investments.

If you have a stamp collection for sale, we have waiting buyers. In the first instance, we ask that you send some digital photographs from a few pages which will enable us to make an initial assessment. Please note that we do not purchase collections that consist primarily of post 1950 stamps.
